Lagrein is a grape variety native to the valleys of South Tyrol in Northern Italy. This wine was made from fruit grown in the ancient Cambrian soils of Upper Heathcote.
This wine is deep purple in colour. It displays aromas of sour cherries and dark chocolate with fine tannins and acidity giving a wine that will cellar for many years to come.
